User driven technology
Creating technology solutions may seem straightforward: build a new tool, release it to market, then sit back and congratulate yourself on a job well done.
The reality is much more involved. It relies on buy-in from, and a connection with our customers.
It all starts with an idea. Again, this is deceptively simple: we know our customer, and we know what they want.
Or do we?
It is easy to fall into the trap of believing that we know what our customers want. We may know our business, but we should never make the mistake of assuming that we know everything about you, our customers.
Having a direct relationship helps, but unless we listen to feedback (both good and bad) any solution created is imperfect.
We have been working towards this goal over the past months.
It is humbling to have passionate customers that are unafraid to tell us what they want.
Some of the things that we are working on are a result of seemingly off-hand comments made to our staff: "You know it would be great if..."
